Sometimes, you just have to start all over differently.”
― Bernard Kelvin Clive

So it’s time for a change. The Reluctant Writer site, identity, brand, whatever you want to call it, has served its purpose. That was getting me off the ground and into writing. Having a go. Testing the waters etc, etc. Now I feel like I’m finding my feet and I like where I’m standing!

I’ve been asked if I want to write a series for a subscription-based digital publishing platform and of course I said YES! To that end I really want to up my game and with that comes a new branding. I want to make it easier for people to find me rather than hiding behind the anonymity of The Reluctant Writer.

I’ve loved doing the three word challenge and I owe much to the people who have participated. Those few remaining challengers will be honoured but I won’t be doing any more for the time being. I’ll never say never again but it’s just not right for me right now.

The domain address will go, eventually, although the tech wizards at WordPress assure me that any traffic will be redirected to the new site when it goes live.

There is much to do before the BIG SWITCH OVER. I’m aiming for a relaunch on Monday 26th November 2018, because it’s Cyber Monday. It seems fitting, plus the fact that my debut novel is called Cyber Cell, it’s a double whammy kind of day!

Wish me luck, see you on the other side!

  1. I do wish you even more than luck. I wish you new readers. I wish you low stressors. I wish you would include some bits of humor in your writings. Not humorous chapters, but subtly humorous, sarcasm or witty retorts now and then.
You really should not be surprised to hear that from me, would you?

    1. Thanks so much, Ed. I really do appreciate your support, encouragement and feedback.

No, I am not at all surprised by your propensity for humour. I will try add some wit into my work but will aim not to be a literary laughing stock.
